Terms & Conditions
These terms apply to plumbing work carried out by Manchester Plumber 247, a trading name of Frontline Cleaning Solutions Ltd, 15 Avon Street, Oldham, OL8 1XN ("we", "us"). By asking us to attend or carry out work, you agree to these terms.
1. Our services
We provide domestic and rental-property plumbing services, including emergency plumbing, drainage, bathroom and kitchen plumbing, general plumbing repairs, radiators and heating pipework. We do not carry out gas or boiler work of any kind.
2. Quotes, call-out fees and payment
A clear quote is given before any work starts. A call-out fee may apply and is always confirmed on the phone before we travel. Quotes are based on the information available at the time; if further problems are found once work begins, we will stop and discuss the options with you before continuing.
Payment is due on completion unless agreed otherwise in writing. Accepted payment methods are confirmed when the job is booked.
3. Attendance and timings
We aim to attend as quickly as possible and will give you a realistic time when you call. Timings are estimates and can be affected by traffic, weather and jobs already in progress. We do not guarantee a specific arrival time.
4. Access and safety
You must provide safe access to the work area and to the property's water supply and isolation points where possible. We may decline or pause work where conditions are unsafe or where the work falls outside what we are qualified to carry out.
5. Materials and parts
Where parts are supplied by us, any manufacturer's warranty is passed on to you. Where you supply your own parts or fittings, we cannot accept responsibility for their quality or failure, only for our workmanship in fitting them.
6. Making good
Some repairs require pipework, floors, walls or ceilings to be opened up. Unless specifically agreed, our work does not include plastering, tiling, decorating or other making-good beyond a reasonable reinstatement of the area worked on. We will always tell you in advance if access work is likely to be needed.
7. Insurance and liability
We hold Public Liability Insurance. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, we are not liable for pre-existing faults, for damage caused by the original defect before we attended, or for indirect or consequential losses.
8. Cancellation
Where you are a consumer and the contract was agreed away from our premises, you may have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days. If you ask us to begin emergency work within that period, you may be required to pay for work carried out up to the point of cancellation. Please tell us as early as possible if you no longer need us to attend.
9. Complaints
If something is not right, contact us on 07732 778726 or at danut81.ct@gmail.com and we will look into it. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
