General Plumbing Repairs
Taps, toilets, showers and pipework — repaired, replaced or installed properly.
The everyday jobs that never quite get sorted: a tap that has dripped for months, a toilet that runs, pipework that was bodged by someone else and has been weeping ever since.
These are worth doing properly once. A dripping tap is wasted water on a meter, and a running toilet can quietly cost more than the repair.

Each of these has its own page explaining the symptoms, what we do about it and what it costs you to find out.
Tap Repairs
A dripping tap is never just annoying — it is wasted water, a stained basin and, in the worst cases, a warning that something behind the wall is starting to fail. We repair and replace taps across Greater Manchester, from a five-minute washer job to a full mixer swap.Read more →Toilet Repairs
Not every toilet problem is a blockage — a lot of the calls we get are about a cistern that never stops filling, a flush that barely clears the pan, or water appearing where it shouldn't. We repair toilets across Greater Manchester, fixing the actual cause rather than just topping up the water level and leaving.Read more →Pipework Repairs
Pipework problems are rarely dramatic on the surface — a damp patch, a slow drip inside a cupboard, a noise when the water's running — but they're usually a sign the pipe underneath needs attention before it fails properly. We repair and replace domestic pipework across Greater Manchester, on copper, plastic and old lead or galvanised runs.Read more →

Common questions
Is it worth repairing an old tap or should I replace it?
Depends on the tap. Some take standard parts and are worth repairing; on cheap mixers the cartridges often cost more than a new tap. We will tell you which is which.
Do you carry common parts with you?
We carry a good stock of the usual washers, valves, fittings and pipe. Anything unusual may need collecting, and we will say so at the time.
Can you do small jobs, or is there a minimum?
Small jobs are fine. How we charge, including whether a call-out fee applies, is confirmed on the phone before we travel.
